Dr Craig Holdstock BMBS BSc (Hons) PGCE FRCA
Consultant Cardiothoracic Anaesthetist at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. Undertakes anaesthesia for adult cardiac surgery including coronary artery bypass, valvular and major aortic surgery. Undertakes anaesthesia for adult thoracic surgery including minimal invasive thoracic surgery and robotic surgery.
Appointed in 2021 following completion of training in anaesthesia in the Peninsula Deanery. Undertook a 1 year Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Imaging at University Hospital Plymouth.
Interests in perioperative ultrasound including TOE, TTE and Lung (FICE / CUSIC accreditation). Other interests include medical education and resuscitation.
Specialist interest in Hyperbaric Medicine and the Anaesthetic Lead for Diving Diseases Research Centre (DDRC) Healthcare.
